WILD HERB PARADISE
The Wild Herb Paradise field trip is an educational science adventure.
There are hundreds of plants to eat in the woods and some that you shouldn’t, we will show you which are which and how to enjoy them!
This is one of the most comprehensive hands-on Edible & Medicinal Plant classes you can attend. We offer classes in the Spring, Summer and Fall since different plants come into season at different times of the year and all of the plants look a little different as the grow and mature.

BEES & POLLINATORS
Explore bee diversity and the role of pollinators in maintaining a healthy balance in our eco-systems. Students will help to catch and identify a variety of pollinators. Bees are vital for the preservation of ecological balance and biodiversity in nature. They provide one of the most recognizable ecosystem services, i.e. pollination, which is what makes food production possible. Bees also act as indicators of the state of the environment.

NATURAL REFORESTATION
The Natural Afforestation, is a technique to facilitate the birth of new plants. Reforestation is the process of restoring tree cover to areas where woodlands or forest once existed but was destroyed by wild fires or removed by logging for wood products; if this area never returns to its original state of a forest this destructive process is called deforestation. In order to maintain a sustainable forest industry reforestation is necessary.
